HazLoc RNER2 Hazardous Location Hoists by Harrington
From Harrington Hoists, the RNER2 HazLoc line of three-phase electric chain hoists offers rigorous lifting equipment for a range of hazardous environments classified by the NEC. Each model is available in capacities from 1-ton to 5-Tons and a standard 10' lift (with longer lifts quoted by request).
Three different models, the RNER2B, the RNER2D and the RENER, address a specific hazardous class and division, but all three are UL Listed and include Harrington’s Smart Brake technology, an electrical fail-safe design that uses DC current to control brake activation. The Smart Brake system requires minimal maintenance and comes with a 10-year hoist brake warranty.

To meet different environmental requirements, where fire or explosion hazards are present, Harrington offers three models of HazLoc Hoist –

· Where flammable gases, vapors, liquids or combustible dust create a hazard, the RNER2B series is suitable for Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 1 environments.

· Where a fire or explosion hazard is present due to flammable gases, vapors or liquids, the RNER2D series is suitable for Class I, Division 2 environments.
- · Where combustible dust creates a hazardous location, the RNER2 series is suitable for Class II, Division 2 environments.
