Help Wanted: Manual Machinist – Part-time, Day shift, 18-24 hours/week
Location: 11 Burnt Tavern Rd, Clarksburg, NJ 08510
Job Description:
- Operate engine lathe, Bridgeport, drill presses and grinders.
- Perform precision boring, milling, threading and grinding.
- Work on a variety of custom and repair machining projects.
- Assist with general shop duties - loading, cleanup and team projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements:
- 10+ Year manual machining experience (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, tolerances and fits.
- Must reside within 40 miles of our location.
- Dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently or with a team.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred:
- Experience repairing industrial or mechanical equipment
- Vocational or military training related to machine work
- Welding experience a plus
