For Hire: Hoist & Crane Technician – 5+ years’ experience

Immediate openings for field service technicians with minimum 5 years’ experience working on overhead cranes and hoists. This is a day shift position, Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime.
Duties:
-Evaluate, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on overhead material handling equipment such as hoists and overhead cranes
-Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns – identifying repair parts/procedures
-Contribute to system installations
-Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manufacturer manuals
-Deal directly with customers and maintain the customer service relationship
-Interface with our engineering department and sales departments
-Manage customer documentation
-Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization
Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience with hoists & overhead cranes, including maintenance, trouble-shooting & installation.
-Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power
-Able to work at heights & Able to lift up to 50 lbs
-Able to work with minimal supervision
-Excellent communication skills for direct contact with customers
-Technology literate – able to learn apps/software, use Microsoft Office programs
-Willing to travel as needed to customer locations, occasionally overnight
-Must reside within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ or be willing to relocate
Required Education/Licensing/Testing:
-High School Diploma / equivalent or better
-Clean drug test (marijuana not tested)
-Valid Driver’s License & good driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
-Completion of an electrical or mechanical certification or trade school degree
-Experience as an ironworker or millwright
-Industrial electricity experience or ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
-Experience welding, machining or fabricating
-Veterans/ Armed Services experience
Pay and Benefits:
-Base Pay from $28.50-$35.50/hour
