Industrial Electrician, full time, day shift

Immediate opening for an Industrial Electrician with experience in three-phase power for industrial applications, electrical components, and safety. This is a day shift position, Mon-Fri, 7am - 3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime. A signing bonus will be offered as part of the hiring package and based on experience.
Duties:
-Evaluate, repair, and perform electrical maintenance on overhead material handling equipment such as hoists and overhead cranes
-Contribute to system installations
-Troubleshoot breakdowns for electrical problems
-Perform quality testing and inspections
-Lead/Advise other team members on electrical procedures & problem solving
-Deal directly with customers & manage customer documentation
-Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes
-Collaborate with engineering department on electrical schematics
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:
-3+ years’ experience with three-phase power or industrial electrical work
-Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, industrial equipment
-Able to read schematics and other technical documents
-Mechanical aptitude
Essential Skills:
-Awareness of national, state, local electrical codes and regulations
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Willing to work at heights, lift heavy objects, climb ladders & other physical tasks
-Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization
-Must understand the importance of workplace safety
-Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required
Required Education/Licensing/Testing:
-High School Diploma / equivalent or better
-Clean drug test (7-panel screening)
-Valid Driver’s License
-Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred Qualifications:
-Journeyman experience OR completion of an apprenticeship program
-Veteran/Armed Forces experience, military electrical school highly preferred
-Experience repairing hoists or overhead cranes
-Experience coaching or training others
